Tony & Kristi have a combined 30+ years of experience in breeding, field training and exhibiting outstanding Sporting Dogs. 

Tony was a North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association (NAVHDA) judge & trainer who has UT prized dogs 30 times to include 6 maximum scores (PI 204) and 2 VCs. In addition, he trained multiple AKC Master and Senior Hunters. He started with GSPs, but specializes in rare breeds. He personally trained the first Master Hunter Bracco female in the U.S. and the first NAVHDA UT Prized One Bracco males. He produced NAVHDA N.A. and U.T. award winning litters at Feather Hills Kennel. Tony became involved with Braccos over 14 years ago. 

Kristi built one of the top Wirehaired Pointing Griffon kennels in the U.S., Whiskeytown.  Awarded AKC Sporting Breeder of the Year in 2020, the kennel won AKC Best in Show with multiple dogs, Best in Specialty Shows, Westminster Best of Breed 8 times (and a Sporting Group 2 and Group 4), National and Regional Specialty Best of Breed winners, and won the Breed at the AKC National Championships 6 times along with a Group 2. Her success included 8 AWPGA Show Dogs of the Year and the Field Dog of the Year in 2016 & 2017. She produced multiple Field Dog Hall of Fame winners, AKC Master, Senior and Junior Hunters and 10 NAVHDA N.A. Breeder award litters along with multiple UTI, UT and UPT Prized dogs.

Our mutual love of the Bracco Italiano breed led us to focus exclusively on the growth and development of this beautiful breed in the U.S., and we were active in helping this breed gain AKC Recognition.  Our philosophy is to obtain and breed only the best dogs to produce the best dogs. We focus on health, temperament and conformation while maintaining the natural hunting instinct in the dogs. We have already produced 17 Champions with many others pointed since the breed went AKC in 2022.  We have multiple Grand Champions ,including the 1st ever GCH dog and GCH bitch, and the first Grand Champion Silver and the only three Bronze Grand Champions in the breed. We have more Best in Show, Reserve Best in Show, Group Winning and Placing Top Ranked Bracchi in the US than any other kennel in the world.  We own the 1st ever WKC Best of Breed Winner and have won BOB at the AKC National Championship in 2023, 2022, 2021 and 2019, the first year they were eligible to show.  In addition, you can visit NAVHDA website to see all of our NAVHDA Prized Bracchi, along with our Junior/Senior and Master Hunters.

Our foundation Bracco Italiano dogs were imported from all over the world, only from the oldest and best kennels who share our mutual goals.  Our dogs are worked and titled in the field, shown and health tested prior to breeding them. First and foremost, they are beloved family members.
